So, Jordan had his f/u with the surgeon this morning: T1NxMx- mixed germ cell tumour (NSGST)- 70% embryonal carcinoma, 20% yok sac and 10% seminoma. So, sounds great that its T1, but there are lymph nodes (1cm) near or on kidney according to the urologist-. I didn't get a copy of the CT- we are now awaiting our oncology appt. My concern is the fact that the tumour is 70% embryonic. I read that with such a high percentage, it may warrant a RPNLD. Oh yes, also the tumour markers are all normal. (pre surgery) Any thoughts on treatment so far? Hoping surveillance only of course.
