First thanks for this great forum. I have a small hard lump (bb size) on the lower third front side of my left testicle. I went to the Doc a few weeks ago and while he thought it was nothing he ordered an ultra sound. yesterday he called me with the results. He advised me that they found a cyst on my left upper epidimys hood and that it was nothing to worry about. I am confused because the lump I am concerned about is defenitly on the front bottom and not on the back top, as would be the case for the epidimys. (right)?

When I confronted my GP Doc with this he said that was all they found and not to worry about it. But the lump is there and I am wondering if they missed it on the ultra sound or if it's just normal and didnt show up. Has anyone heard of ultra sounds missing stuff often? I might go see a urologist to get a second opinion. Any thoughts are apprecitated. Thanks

Oh, I also got a blood test that came back normal too. Thanks

I dont know much about this but I do know that GP's know very little. My gp told me that there was nothing much there but to be safe get an ultrasound which showed up a growth which turned out to be TC. Only got it out on Wednesday so I dont know much about it really, not having it in your blood though is ok.

My uroligist did say though that it doesn't always show up in your blood and that can be a problem when checking for later tests.

The doctors are most likley correct but your the one who needs to be sure. If I were you I would go to a urologist for a second opinion. They probably wont find anything but think how much better you will feel.

I'm sorry to have to say this but welcome to the club. Do you know anything yet about the composition of your tumor? Bloodwork, scans, everthing. Please keep us posted and remember this is one that you can beat.

CT scans were clear but I've not got a clue of what the bloodwork, composition is like. I dont really ask too many questions as I have no idea what it means but I'll try find out now.
