I have a epididymal cyst on the right side, which feels as though it is on the testicle but in fact it is in the epididymis. This has caused me both pain and discomfort, but ultrasound has shown that it is definitely part of the epididymis.

Definitely get an ultrasound to be sure, but I would suspect this is what is happening in your case.

Is this EXTREMELY sensitive skin under the pubic hair a symptom? And the sort of cramping feeling at the top of the leg?

Well I went to the doctors this morning and he said he thought it was probably a cyst on the epydidymus or something, since it comes out so far from the testicle.

Then he said he would arrange an ultrasound to be done in the next week or two to make sure and that I'd get a letter about it soon.

But I'm not reassured by this..... I read that a cyst was meant to be painless, yet I am now having some pain in the groin area... it is like a small area further up where the skin is extremely sensitive....

    I'm confused.

Well, I'm pretty worried now since I'm starting to feel a sort of ache a bit higher up now in the bottom of my stomach and occasionally a sudden pain left of my groin.

I find it strange that all this has seemingly come on in a three day period, but I guess that's the way it goes.

In my own mind, I think the future looks bleak.

I'm going to the doctors tomorrow morning and I'll tell you what happened....

No, I don't just say that to all the guys.

The statistical likelihood of testicular cancer is very low compared with other things that cause lumps in the scrotum. In every case, though, the best course is to have it checked. If it is suspected to be an infection, the doctor may prescribe antibiotics.

What makes you say it's more likely to be an infection of the epididymis? Something I said or is it just something you say to everyone?

Also, if it was that infection how long would it take to clear up left untreated, and would it at all?

I will probably go to the doctors soon...

It's more likely to be an infection of the epididymis or something else less serious than cancer, but your best bet is to check with your doctor or a urologist.

started a topic I found a lump and I'm worried

    I found a lump and I'm worried

A couple of days ago i noticed that I could feel a really dull ache at the top of my left testicle.

It doesn't feel like the ache is coming from the testicle itself but I cannot be sure.

On my right testicle at the top front I can feel a sort of mushy structure which I know is meant to be there.

But on the left testicle there is a lump at the top at the front of this stuff, it feel as though it is enlarged by a small pea sized amount and when I squeeze is slightly I am sure this is where my ache/pain is coming from.

When I say enlarged, it like a structure that come way out of the testicle, like, it doesn't feel embedded in the testicle because it sticks out so far

    Is this TC?

I didn't go to my doctor yet... I don't want to either but I guess it might be necessary now.

    How worried should I be?
Working...
