    hi my name is bobby and im 17 and im really skared..i was skating the other day "i play hockey" and i felt a little pain on my left testicle..i lost 2 grandparents to cancer this year so natuarlly i freaked out..and started looking everywhere on the internet..my left side is a bit higher than the right..it almost feels like alot of vains on the the lefts side..like a bag of worms or somthing..and i have a little "i dont even kno if it is" bump on ontop of my left testicle..my back has been hurting me latly..but that could b from baseball but i really dont kno..im goign tot he doctor soon i think but im jsut really really skared..
    the kida lump isnt very hard, i cna squeze it but it hurts a litle when i do..i almost feel like i have it on my rite side but its smaller and it doesnt hurt...also i feel like somtimes its easy to find on my left,,and idk but it seems like i can move it a tad..
    ALSO my left on is a bti softer than the right testicle..and im really skared about the back pain b.c they said that, that means that it might of spread..
    help any 1 pleez

    I'm sorry about the loss of your grandparents, but try to not panic over your symptoms. It is normal for one testicle to hang lower then the other it is also not uncommon for one to be slightly larger then the other. All the veins you feel that is also quite common. Follow the attached link and it will take you to a site which will explain how to do a proper self exam http://tcrc.acor.org/. You are correct that back pain can be a sign of spread but with you playing hockey I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just don't miss your appointment, I don't think you have tc but let the doctor tell you that.

        That's quite normal but think how great your gonna feel when you find out you're ok.

          right inguinal orchiectomy 6/5/2003 > nonseminoma, stage I > surveillance > L-RPLND 6/24/2005 for recurrence, suspected teratoma but found seminoma, stage II > chylous ascites until 9/2005 > surveillance and "all clear" since

            phheww it went well..the guys said that i dont have any lumps..its that thing that carrys the spremm..i forgot the name..and the fact that iv been skared and messing w. it for a week infalmned it..im so happy now wow...thanks guys..im gonna try to stay active on this forum, jsut to tell poeple not to think they have tc..but thanks everyone
