I have been to the doctor !!

Hi all,


My Problem :: During TSE , i found a hard mass or lump near the bottom of my right testicle and felt its connected to the vein like structure called epididymis BUT its not detached to testicle. I felt no pain , no discomfort. After discussing in this forum, i made an appointment with an urologist.

What Doctor said :: He first checked my testicle and found the hard module in the epididymis and NOT in the testicle. He asked me a lot of question like any pain during ejaculation or any pain ever i felt because of this hard mass.
well i answered NO !! then he asked me any sexual relation..i said..i m still virgin ..lol. after all these..he said he is sure its infection in the epididymis. I asked him again ..that ..are you sure its not serious and he replied " I honestly feel that its infection but to officially rule out things he asked me for Ultrasound of Scortum and Kidney + Urine Test + Blood test + one other thing..( dont remember the name and cant read his prescription too..so bad handwriting ..but it was something related to ejaculation speed kinda...). and lastly he said u can start taking antibiotic after the urine test result comes and the hard module will go away in 14 days !! i dont know he was so sure..and i felt happy so thats all for the time being..will inform u all when i get my all tests done. Thanx all for the support and the information . Please post ur views about it.

Sounds like really good news, Cyborg! Thanks for reporting in, and be sure to let use know whether the antibiotics clear things up and what the ultrasound shows.

That's great news Cyborg. With the tests the doctor ordered it would be hard to miss a real problem. Keep us posted on how the antibiotics work.

UPDATE :: i am on the prescribed antibiotic for last 5 days and the hard module has gone smaller and it seems to go day by day. My antibiotic course is of 14 days. I have 1 question..should i still go for the Ultrasound n other tests as i think its not at all serious...please reply.

At this point I would only go if it ment true peace of mind. It seems that the doctors were right and from your physical response your body seems to agree. Enjoy being healthy.

UPDATE :: AFTER 11 DAYS ON ANTIBIOTIC


my lump/ hard module is now almost invisible !!! still 4 more days for anti-biotic ( ofloxacin 200 mg ) . so kinda big relief !!

I have had alot of trouble recently from epidymitis.

I have what you said you had. Small nodule at the bottom. Heck my whole epidy mis is still fairly swollen.

I think I should go back to the doctor again. I bet he was getting sick of all my visits.
