Possibly some sort of infection or a pulled muscle that hasn't quite fully healed yet.....

Most cases of TC that are diagnosed in the very early stages will not be accompanied by to many side affects. Seeing that you can't feel anything abnormal and only have a slight bit of pain would probably piont toward a slight infection as Dadmo said --If by some slim chance you do have TC you probably caught it at a very, very early stage... Best of luck to you tommorrow!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you as well!!!!!! DON

    thnx for the fast feedback

just had a bath.....i cannot find any obvious lumps, so if anything is there i guess its growing in the inside. Both testicles feel roughly the same, although the left does feel slighlty harder, larger and tender to touch. cross fingers that its all well.

It sounds more like an infection the tc. The ultrasound will tell you have a solid tumor or not. You do raise a good question about how a testicle should feel. Without sounding stupid I would say like a steak cooked to medium. Since I have only ever checked mine all I know is that the left and right feel the same.

started a topic nervous about this

    nervous about this

i have had a pain in mainly in the left testicle for the last month(sometimes moving also to into the right). The pain is very similar to that of "blue balls". I am unable to notice any differnece between the 2 testicles aprt from the left is often tender to touch. Recently a pain into my left leg, and left bum cheek can be felt, but this tends to be an on off disomfort. Do you think this could be related to the testicle ache?

i have been to see the doctor, but he has just referred me hospital to get ultrasound. (this will take place tomorrow). Any ideas in advance would be appreciated.

Also am i correct in thinking that the pain is "good" as testicular cancer is often painless?

p.s - having never done a self testicular examination before i have never noticed how the testicles are meant to be....i know they are smooth with the epidermis, but i was wondering if they are "squidgy" or hard. mine are hard but as i havent really considerd this before i was wondeirng if they are meant to be that way.

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you in advance
