Well, I got the results today. They said everything is normal. Makes me wonder what that lump is though. The pain is all gone, unless I touch it of course. Maybe I should just leave it alone for a while, and the pain will go away completley.

Just try and relax until the Ultrasocund. Your doc is dojng the right thing with the Ultrasound. Now when the results come back you won't have to wonder if he made the right call.

Well, I saw the doctor today - he didn't think it was anything to worry about, but scheduled me an ultrasound just to be on the safe side. The ultrasound isn't until the 24th so I've got a while to wait, but for the most part, I feel pretty at ease now.

its great to get it checked out if you can. one thing i've found out more than ever is that men want listen to what there bodies are telling them. many things go undetected because their too "manly" to go to the doctor. i'm glad your going!! hopefully things will check out clear! keep us updated!

Welcome to the forum. You're a smart young man getting this checked out. You could have a simple infection or even a calcium deposit, the chances of having tc are very small but it's good to be safe. The attached link will take you to a web site with some great information. http://tcrc.acor.org/

Yesterday afternoon, I was sitting down to watch a movie, and felt a sharp pain in my groin. I didn't think a lot of it, but it hurt whenever I would shift in my seat or get up and walk around. Later that night, the pain had died down considerably, but I could still feel a bit of pain every once in a while. I realized that the pain seemed to be originating from my left testicle, so I started to check it out. I found a pea sized lump on the back of my left testicle and I feel pain up my abdominal area whenever I touch it or apply any kind of pressure.

From what I've read, there are many types of lumps that form in the "scrotum", but this one really appears to be right on the testicle itself. Two years ago, I had a lump checked out by the doctor and had an ultrasound performed. That lump was found to just be a cyst, but it was clearly not attached to the testicle, and didn't have any pain.

Make no mistake, I'm making a doctor's app on Monday because the first time this happened, it really put my mind at ease. But from what I understand, cancerous lumps aren't usually painful, right?

I know none of you can make a diagnosis over the internet, but could you give me some insight as to what it could be?

Oh and I don't know how important it is, but I'm 18.
