The mind can play strange games when you think you're sick. Just try and not overwhelm yourself with worry. Those symptoms may be nothing. Do you have a date for the doctors yet.

Is there any chance you can get an appointment soon. I don't want you to panic but the heaviness in the testicle is often the first sign that something is wrong.

Just don't miss that appointment. Even if it's a simple infection it will need to be treated.

Cancer is the least likely thing for it to be. A cyst is more likely but it still needs to be checked.

I had a similar problem waiting to see a urologist in the UK when I found a lump. I went back to a different GP and he put me forward for a ultra-scan appointment on the NHS. For a testicular lump they are now obliged to get you seen within two weeks and the radiologer will be able to tell you there and then whether it's a cyst or something more sinister. You can opt to have the scan privately and get seen the same week (which I did) - but it does cost around £100 unless one of your parents has private medical cover. Either way, I would try not to worry too much, as the vast majority of lumps turn out to be non-cancerous.
