  • Help ease my mind?

    Hi

im 17 years old right now.

i have had this sorta dull ache in my groin/lower abdomen (more like this) on my left side, and my left testicle seems to be a little bigger than the right.

its been about a year and its still there but i been too scared to tell my parents (why is it that we always do this? haha).

could this be testicular cancer? it has been bothering me a little bit more lately.

like right now as i sit i kinda feel a tiny ache there.

Also, on my right testicle, near the epydimis, almost like under it. i have this lump, maybe a liitle smaller than a pea. but i dont think its connected to the testicle, i can kinda move around it. what could this be?

thanks, hopefully i can easy my mind a little.

Note: i did do alot of bicycle riding for this past year, could that be part of it? because I noticed it after a long 3 hours bike ride.

It sounds like you might have a cyst and/or a possible Varicocele, check out this link http://kidshealth.org/teen/sexual_h...varicocele.html. I wouldn't worry to much but have a doctor check it out.

      thanks for the reply.

      (the link doesnt work).

also i noticed i have this sorta mass(looks kinda lumpy from outside) behind my left testicle, its not really connected to it, its just kinda floatin behind the left area. And also most of these dull aches are kinda felt in the left low lower back, at the waist area.

      any other opinions?

Try the link now it should work.

I would get to the doctor and let him check check you out. I don't think it's cancer (the back pain could be anything) but let the doctor make sure. A varicocele can lead to sterility if it get too large so get it checked.
