Does the lump feel like it is firmly attached to or part of the testicle? If what you're feeling is in the epididymis (the wormy like tubes that are on the back of the testicle) then it would more likely be an epididymal cyst of an infection of the epididymis. TC forms from testicluar tissue so the lump has to be part of the testicle. I'm glad you have a doctors appointment, Make sure your go, but from your description, it doesn't sound like the typical symptoms of TC.

I'll be very surprised if it turns out to be cancer, but it's good you're getting it looked at. When is your urologist's appointment?

I agree with Fish and Scott. I would be very surprised if it turned out that you have tc. Yes it may be a benign growth (tumor) but that doesn't mean cancer.

Just because it’s not likely to be cancer that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be addressed soon. Is it urgent? I have no way of knowing that. I’m not trying to sound stupid but if the growth was in the center of your forehead how long would you wait for a visit?

If your really worried about this being cancer then I wouldn't wait for someone else to give you authorization to see a doctor... Just Go... if you have to pay then so be it... A doctors visit is usually less then $150.00 and ALL doctors and hospitals allow their patients to make payment as low as 10 dollars a month...The symptoms you are complaining of are not consistant with those of TC and the chances of this flap of skin you have being a tumor is highly unlikely!!!!!!!!

I didn't realize you were only 15 so you need consent from an adult to be seen... I read your post from the last month or so ... your driving yourself crazy over this and every time you find something that even resembles a symptom of TC you start getting worried again.. you have already been cleared from the doctor once .. If there was something major he would have followee up right then and there...You to young to be living in fear like this.. Go enjoy yourself with your freinds or something... Its great that your checking yourself but your starting to obsess a little...... Your going to be just fine!!!!!!!

I just read on a site that "unexplained fatigue" is a sign of TC!!!!!

I've being feeling fatigued for the last 4 weeks!!

Many teenagers feel that way. Are you sure it's "unexplained" fatigue?

That's not a symptom of cancer; it's an unhealthy sleep pattern.

If you like spinach it's a great source of iron. Supplements are good, I take several myself, but if I can find a natural source for what I need I go with that first.
