Does the lump feel like it is firmly attached to or part of the testicle? If what you're feeling is in the epididymis (the wormy like tubes that are on the back of the testicle) then it would more likely be an epididymal cyst of an infection of the epididymis. TC forms from testicluar tissue so the lump has to be part of the testicle. I'm glad you have a doctors appointment, Make sure your go, but from your description, it doesn't sound like the typical symptoms of TC.
