  • The lump

    Hi,
    Just yesterday i felt a lump. eek. i have circled about where it is on the picture that is at the link at the bottom. (Dw is not real life, just a cortoon pic from google image search
    i don't know if i should be worried about this or not. is it normal. i'm waiting a while to see if it goes down or anything. just thought i'd see what you lot thought. thanks

    Lumps are common but they are not normal and should be checked by a doctor. Usually they are nothing to worry about the attached link will instruct you on how to do a proper self exam.

    Son Jason diagnosed 4/30/04, stage III. Right I/O 4/30/04. Graduated College 5/13/04. 4XEP 6/7/04 - 8/13/04. Full open RPLND 10/13/04. All Clear since.

    Treated by Dr. Rakowski of Midland Park, NJ. Visited Sloan Kettering for protocol advice. RPLND done at Sloan Kettering.

      Hi Robbo:

      Based on the area you circled on that image, it could be a cyst in the skin, a swollen lymph node or possibly an inguinal hernia. As Dadmo says you should have a doctor check it out.

        Being that high up it would seem to me (in my unproffesional opinion) that the lump is a hernia........
