  • Need help?

Hi I noticed a lump when I was 12 nearly 13 when I stood up I could see it and it was quite hard, however I can not feel the lump if it am laid down, I also get a pain in my testicle that lasts for around 2 seconds and also a groin pain on both sided, I am 16 now and I've been to the doctors and he said my testicles feel fine but I am still worried?

If the lump is still there, then you should go for a second opinion. Have you had an ultrasound and what did it say?

Hi, the doctor said they feel fine and he couldn't really see a lump, also my testicles feel normal such as they don't feel hard and also no swelling, what could I be seeing when I look down enlarged vein?

Here are a couple of links you may find useful the first discusses the anatomy of the testicle:

The second one is about how to do a proper self exam:

        Hope that helps!
