  • What Do You Think?

I am a 15 year old boy. In the top of my left testical i have a sort of lump. The lump is quite big about a 1cm maybe, although it feels more like the tube ( i forgotten whats its called) is swelled up. It is twice as big as the tube on my right testical. The lump or whatever it is, isn't attached to my testicle apart from one part of it, but like i said i think its on/in the tube thing so thats why it just joins to it apart from one place.
    So what is it?

What you are feeling is most likely the veins that run to the testicle. It does not sound like testicular cancer. Check this web site to learn how to do a proper self exam . If you have any questions after that just write back.

Ok thanks. I read it and i'm pretty sure what i have is:

I hesitate to mention the following list, since anything out of the ordinary down there should prompt a visit to the doctor, but you should be aware that the following symptoms are not normally signs of testicular cancer:

A lump on the epidiymis or tubes coming from the testicle that kind of feels like a third testicle
So should i still go to doctor? Also is this normal and will go away by itself? or should it be like it anyway?

I would go see a doctor, not because I think you have tc. Any cyst, anywhere should be looked at.
