You would have to call all the providers and ask what their charges will be, they will be able to tell you give or take a few dollars. It is different all over the country your area might be low, mine might be high.

Hey,
Two weeks ago I went in to have a rather large cyst removed.
I origninally received a diagnosis of TC, but the urologist did another ultrasound and was convinced it wasnot TC. After a second opinion confirming the diagnosis I had the cyst removed.
Cysts are not usually painful, but if they get big enough or are pushing against the right "thing" they can be. Mine did shoot pain into my leg and lower abdomen. After the surgery all of my additional pain (those associated with the cysts) dissapeared.
From what my doctor told me it is usually safe to ignore them (AFTER GETTING THEM CHECKED OUT OFCOURSE!!). If they become painful or enlarged then you could consider either aspiration where they stick a needle in and drain the fluid, or you can have them removed. She futher explained that aspiration is just a temporary fix and the cysts usually return to their full size within a couple of weeks. Usually a diagnosis of a cyst will be accompanied by a prescription of antibotics in hopes of curing an infection that caused it. Antibiotics had no affect on my cyst so we decided on surgery. The two biggest risks with the surgery is infection and infertility. But yes they can be painful, and cause associative pain.
Cysts are usually pretty easy to determine with an ultrasound. They show up as black objects, whereas the pics of cancer I've seen are quite different.
Hopes this help,
Tim

An ultrasound is generally reliable. Have you talked about the results with your doctor yet?
