Well I went to the doctor this morning for consultation. When I left this evening at 7:00 pm, I was missing a testicle. Everything was done today. CT scan and chest ex ray was clear. testicle was sent to pathology and blood work not back yet. Doctor says it is probably seminoma with no spread.

I feel so much better. What a crazy day. But its over for now.

So what can I expect next?

I'm sorry you had to join the club, I know it stinks but it will be ok. The big thing now is the path report. If the doctor is correct and you have no spread your cured and it's over for you. To be prepaired go back over to the tcrc page and read everthing you can about seminoma. If you do need treatment make sure you bank sprem. Your doctor may not agree with this suggestion but get tour testosterone levels checked, you should be fine only having one but a fair number of people will need hormone replacement. Keep us posted on your progress and ask as many questions as you want, that's what were here for.

I have two children already and a vasectomy 14 years ago. Are you saying hormone supplements to have a normal sex life or for children?

The reason I mentioned have you hormones checked isn't for either sex or children. Some guys with low testosterone suffer from depression and the cause is often thought to be the battle with cancer and the low "t" levels get overlooked. It's just a precaution.
