just got back from ultrasound. Everything is normal. No tumors. The radiologist said she saw a little fluid in the scrotum but nothing else. She had the doctor review the images and they said there is nothing abnormal. The little bump on the epidimus that i am feeling could be a blod vessel is what i was told.

Yes 100% it's worth a trip to the doctor. You don't need any type of cyst or infection in the boys' club. An ultrasound will confirm what you have been told and some meds will clear it up if it's an infection.

thank you..thats what i was going to ask...if it would have grown. What do you think it is if it is in the epididimus? Is this something that is worth the trip to the docs for an ultrasound or no?

Exactly - also, if it was TC and it had been there for two years, it would have grown.

so by being able to get my fingers between the lump and the testicle it is not likely to be tc? The more i examine it the more i can tell that the bump is part of the epididymis. Like i said..it has been there for 2 yrs and never changed. It never got bigger .

    Welcome to the forums shkr2000,

Your doctor is correct. TC is in/on the testicle itself, so if it's not connected to the testicle it isn't TC.

If you want to know exactly what it is, I would recommend asking your doctor to schedule an ultrasound for you as that would be able to determine it. Also, if you're not 100% sure it is totally separate from the testicle, I'd get the ultrasound just to be safe.

found lump on top of testicle

    hi
hopefully someone can help me with this. About 2 years ago i found a very small (smaller than a bb) lump on the top ofmy right testicle. Last week i finally went to the doctors to get it checked..I know...stupid for waiting so long. Anyway. It is a very small hard lump and does not seem to be coming out of the testicle. I can get my fingers behind it and it seems to be more part of the epididymis than the testicle itself. It is definitely connected and part of the epididymis . My doctor couldnt feel it and told me that if it is not part of the testicle than there is noting to worry about

can someone follow up on this and give me some info? Does cancer begin inside the testicle?
    thanks
