  • Pain in spot at back of right testicle

Well, I've had this pain for awhile... its the right testicle it hangs lower than the left. I thought maybe its cause sometimes ya know it gets caught a little between the legs for awhile sometimes... but it hurts in a specific spot. At the back of the right testicle, if I take my thumb down the right side of the penis it catches the testicle right in a backside spot. If I feel right around this area, theres a spot where its painful. It seems to be on almost the middle of the back of the testicle. I can feel it more after I've pushed on it for a little while, when I graze it while walking or sitting.

It just feels like a small spot, the harder I push it the more it will hurt (it can hurt enough to get a silent ahhh outta me ). If I bunchup the testicle in my hand I cant notice any significant bump or anything through the skin. I'd still have to feel around to find it. I've had this for as long as I can remember (not sure at all if its always been there). I haven't been sick for a really long while.

It just annoys me sometimes cause if it gets squeezed or touched right there, it can cause unpleasantness. I rarely ever go to the doctor or dentist but something involving pain in the private parts is pretty abnormal. Theres no signs of testicle cancer except that pain that can come when I touch that back spot.

Edit: Also I have cancer in my moms side (caused my mom/grandmas death). Both my parents are deceased and I am in college, no job just loans and school to attend. So I dont have any healthcare (reason I dont go even though I've never really been struck down since college). I'm not sure where to go if someone says goto the doctor? Not sure how much it would cost with no deductible payment or anything.

It sounds like you might have an infection. Can you go to the school clinic and talk to someone? They might be able to give you some meds for an infection and then if it doesn't improve I would visit a urologist. They may have someone they can recommend.

hmm yea I guess I'll have to ask somehow It does feel a little like a bump but no matter how hard I try I cant make it visible if I really bunch it up with my hand. Luckily because of where its at it doesnt cause much problems but it probably shouldnt be ignored if it can be painful by feeling it.

I'm just not sure if its infection because I know I've had the problem for a really long time. Usually I notice because it goes below the left between the legs and sometimes can get caught without much space and squeeze that area.

The only way you can be sure that you don't have testicular cancer is to have a urologist give you an exam and then have an ultrasound. What they will be looking for is to see if the thing you have is solid or fluid filled. If it's a solid mass then you may have a problem. Check out this site for info on how to do a proper exam and let us know what you think.
