  • It was nothing...

    Hey all,

I came here about a month or two ago wondering about a bump on my right teste. It turns out that it was just a calcium deposit, probably due to large amounts of running and cycling.

I just wanted to post this so that people know that a bump there doesn't always mean it's cancerous. Definitely go see a doctor though if you find something there. Not knowing what it was was definitely the worst part. If nothing else a doctor can give you an idea what it was (mine guess correctly when I first saw him, but an ultrasound confirmed it).

    Atropos,
Very glad to hear all is well with you...keep up the monthly self exams! Thanks for posting this, and for your advice for others to see a doc...seems getting the nerve to make that appointment is a major hurdle for a lot of guys. Again, congrats on the excellent results. Health and happiness to you
