    Welcome to the forums.

I would try to get an appointment sooner to determine what this is. If nothing else, then to avoid waiting longer than neccesary to find out.

An ultrasound is very accurate in diagnosing TC and finding any tumors in the testicle so I'm almost positive any tumor would have shown up on the ultrasound. But I would still get it checked out by a urologist.. after all, he's the specialist for this.

As far as the side is concerned, it doens't really matter whether the lump is on the left or right side.

I have had lower abdominal pain for 2 months now. I also have lost about 20lbs without intention. I had already seen a doc about the abdominal pain. I was in the middle of tests when I found a bean sized lump on the top of my right testicle. I went to my GP and had an ultrasound. The ultrasound did not show the lump. The Doc expressed enough concern because they could definitly feel the lump. They sent a consult to Urology. Urology said I would see them in Jan. If it is TC is that too long to wait? With my symptoms should I be concerned? Also is thr lump on the right testicle more worrisome then the left?
