Some types of cancer can grow rather slowly, but they're cancer nonetheless. However, it could be just a cyst and only your doctor will be able to tell you for sure. I wouldn't waste any more time, make an appointment and hopefully it will end up being nothing to worry about.

I should also mention that in the 6 month's the lump has not grown any bigger. I do not know what that means but thought I should just throw that out there. Also I felt each testicle and beside the lump everything feels normal. All the help is greatly appreciated.

I agree, go to your doctor. You will know what exactly is going on-- don't waste time, it has been long enough.

The best input you could get would be from a doctor. Schedule an appointment with your primary physician or an urologist, they'll be able to diagnose you a lot better than we can.

    Scared

I have had this lump that is located on the side of my left testicle for at least 6 months now. The first time I felt it I got nervous real fast but the next morning I didn't think much of it and kind of just forgot about it (stupid). Well just today, after being hit in the area playing basketball, I had this soarness and decided to read up on TC and do a self examination. After the examination I found the lump once again, it was hard to find but it is just a little bigger than size of a pea. I put a little pressure on the lump and it was pretty painful and now my lower abdomen hurts, but I don't know if it is from just getting hit there or what. So I need some input here. Thanks.
