While I kid with Fish about ways to get your doctor to pay attention, in all seriousness I agree with him to go the the ER and tell this you have a lump and you are in terrible pain. You have swelling, pain, and need immediate attention. Infections, over the course of a week, can become real problems. Do what you need to to be seen and have the proper diagnostics run.

    Hi cgm:

The 21st is still a week away, if you've got that much pain, I would recommend a trip the ER. If you have an infection, you need to get treatment ASAP.

Best wishes to you and your mom.

I thought that given there was no reported incidence of cancer in either my Mum or Dad's family, I couldn't possibly have TC. Wrong!

    I hope your Mum's doing well......Davie

If it's too uncomfortable or troubling to wait for your physical, can you check with your college's Health Services sooner?

Here's what I haven't mentioned; the longer I wait obviously the more nervous I get, and at the same time I feel as if the pain has radiated to the top of my left testicle AT TIMES... is epiditimitis possible to move to the other side as well?

Thanks for the article on the foreskin, that makes sense.

Regardless I'm pretty nervous, since my mother is a Stage II cancer patient and cancer is obviously present in my blood lines.

It does sound as though it's likely to be epididymitis. Good thing you have a physical scheduled to have it checked.

Here's a link to one study that did find a relationship between the presence of a foreskin and epididymitis.

    19 in college... HELP

Before I start I have a physical on Thursday the 21st...

For the past 2 weeks I have had pain in my right testicle. The pain is very severe at times. The pain is on the top of my right testicle where the
    Epididitimus is.

The pain has been continually worse... Last night I poked the top tubes of the Epididitimus and they were VERY swollen and I nearly teared from the pain there...

The testicles are the same size. I have always experienced what seems to be a low grade fever.

It seems that I have Epididymitis... Someone I work with told me Epididymitis is closely related to build-up of sperm in the connecting tubes going to teh Epiditimus.... I "pleasure myself" often so it cannot be caused from this...

Do my symptoms sound like Epididymitis? I know Epididymitis is a build-up of bacteria... I am uncircumcized, would this contribute to the infection? I AM NOT sexually active, so this being an STD should be ruled out...

Also, are Urinary Tract Infections closely related to Epididymitis... I have been having pains in the kidney area of my back... Both sides.

    Please help.
