few questions

Well I am having an ultra sound in 3 days, but I cant help but obsess over this and the pain isnt helping me try to forget about it.

The actual testicle that is effected has no change in consistancy at all, its not painfull to touch, it is the same size, firmness and sensitivity as the other one, although the mass is not round, it is NOT hard as a rock, it wasnt painfull to touch, although recently it is causing pain around the area where it meets the testicle, it feels as though its gonna go POP, it feels like there is a lot of pressure building up in it, the pain seems to be from the mass(wich is attached to the testicle) pressing up against the actual testicle, it is very localised pain, I have had this for atleast 3 years with pain here and there maybe once a year for days at a time.

its 1.5cm by 1.5cm roughly 1/4-1/3 the size of the actual testicle, I keep reading people here who had TC, had much smaller harder lumps with no pain.

I had a blood test(not for cancer) last week and my blood count and liver function and renal function were all normal.
What would you guys say is the odds of it being cancer?

And why do doctors press against my pelvic bone and ask me to cough?

I am willing to bet this isn't cancer.

It sound's like either an enlarged vein either on or connection to the testicle. It could also be a small variocele. These can (in some cases) cause pain to occur similar to what you describe.

Either way i am glad you are getting this checked out on the ultrasound, i hope thing's work out well for you.

waiting is one of the hardest things.. just wondering what it might be... it sucks, but just be happy youre ultra sound is near. im gettin my results from ultra sound on wednesday and i cant wait.. but yet im scared also, hang in there man, good luck

Thanks guys, the medical officer gave me a call today and he tried to get my ultra sound done today or tommorow, he switched me through to the radiology clinic in the hospital and my apointment is tommorow morning, I think hes worried cause I told him the lump was sore, when its not sore at all, the pain seems to be related to blue balls, cause when I rub one off the pain actually gets relieved abit. Im also suspecting a hernia cause I have been lifting lately wich could have agitated it.

Is cancer ment to effect liver function? and is a tumor ment to be as hard as the eraser on the end of a pencil or hard as a rock?
