Probably should have mentioned that yes I did get an ultrasound and it was confirmed a cyst. Its not really that I'm worried about, but rather the fact that one of my testicles is quite noticeably larger than the other. Even my girlfriend noticed/is concerned.
Anyway, thanks for the support guys!

I don't think you can be too cautios when your dealing with your health... If your not 100% satisfied with the results or find yourself questioning the first diagnosis get another opinion....some people even get a third..After that you would be considered paranoid. How did the first Urologist diagnose a cyst without an Ultrasound??? Best of Luck!!!!!!

I agree. If you haven't had an ultrasound, it's worth getting another opinion.

Your doctor is probably right about it being a cyst but I would get to a urologist and try and arrange for an ultrasound, just to make sure.

Cancer? Infection? Not a clue..
Back in April/May-ish I was home for the weekend from school. While I was taking a shower, I noticed I had a small BB sized lump on my right testicle (BB as in pellets or what not). I went to a doctor and his diagnosis was it was only a small cyst and nothing to worry about. Well about a month or so later I was unable to locate the cyst..but in the next weeks following I really started to take notice that the same testicle was notably larger than my other one. I had to go back to the same doctor again in the summer for a followup and he still told me I was ok.
Something just doesnt feel right. I know one testicle is suppose to be bigger than the other and the difference is suppose to be subtle..but to me it just seems far too noticable. I'd have to say my 'regular' testicle is about 3/5 the size of my other. Think it's maybe time to check out a new urologist or am I just paranoid??Tags: None
