  • Update on my vist to Urologist

    Hello Friends,

Here is the update on my situation on my 2nd visit to Clevland Clinic, Weston, FL, I had my 4 boold tests done on my first visit and Utra soundscans (one by GP and other by Urologist).

    ALPHA FETOPROTEIN BL
    HCG QUANTITATIVE
    LD LACTATE DEHYDRO
    COMP METABOLIC PANEL
    COMPLETE BLOOD COUNT_*FL

Today I was seen my Urologist 2nd time along with another Urologist whose speciality is "Genitourinary oncology; renal transplantation". I was told my blood test came out clean, and told me my Testis is fine and I have a Cyst. So far it looks like I have to go back after 3 months for same tests again to check if it is growing or not.

I am also seeing another Urologist from Aventura Hospital who recommended me for Testicular MRI, which I am planning to next week to be sure. So far that is the update. I hope they are really sure it is a Cyst.

This whole experience has changed me and my perspective of life a lot, I have to learn to appreciate each day and be happy for whatever I have and to be grateful and generous. My family has been great support for me along with memebers of this forum.

I really appreciate all the input and support I have got from you. I am hoping it is a cyst as they said but I also want to listen what other Urologist says after MRI, I will keep you posted.

Special thanx to Dadmo, Iowabrian, mikeygti, huckchef and my fellow Floridan Don

I'm so happy to hear it's a cyst. You summed up the amazing gift that comes from facing your mortality head on. LiveSTRONG!
