  • :( Scared

Alright.. Im 18 and I recently found a small squishy lump on my right testicle.. It feels like its attached to a stem like object. Sometimes I feel pain, but its never in that teste.. Sometimes there discomfort, but mostly the discomfort has been coming from the right.. No back pain, no tenderness or "enlargement" of the breast.. No other symptoms at all besides this help.. Im goin to see urlogist on Wends... But I just wanna kno what to expect.. Basically I feel this:

    1. Lump attached to a stemlike thing to testicle.
    2. Discomfort in both testes.
    3. The one with the "lump" is smaller then the one without.

Can someone tell me what to expect.

    Scared is a normal response

    Hi Kid,
Scared is a normal response and you are doing the right thing. Sometimes is helpful to try to be scared for an hour or so a day, then get on with the rest of your life. Either way, you won't have wasted your days! Any lump and especially pain should be checked by a professional. Just make sure that they are knowledgable and set up the correct diagnositic studies. For TC it would be an ultrasound and blood test. Easy Easy!! It is better to have the answers about your concerns. This site is full of helpful people, keep writing if you have questions, people will be there for you. Take care, Russell's mom.

Hey Kid, good job getting this checked. Chances are it's something other then cancer but why take that chance. Russell's mom is right about what to expect but the doctor may be satiafied with an in office exam just try and push for the ultrasound.

My Aunt whos a nurse said that from what I said it was a cyst or some sort of infection. I kno those arent good things, but still better then TC. Its not really pain tho.. Its more like uncomfort, but it went away now.. Like it comes and goes.. Thanks for the support.. And yes I kno its better to be safe then sorry, thats why Im gettin it checked out.. And if worse comes to worse I'd rather have 1 testicle then none at all.. Did anyone ever have this same problem.. Anddd if it is TC wouldnt I have more then 1 symptom, cause the only symptom I have it the lump, Its kinda jellyish.. and theres like a chord or a stem attaching it to my testi

It's not unusual to have just one symptom. Most people simply notice a heaviness which leads them to checking the testicle. I'm sure you're going to be ok but your smart not taking any chances.

            Thanks

I jus wanted to know what to expect.. The first thing I noticed was a discomfort feeling and then I did a self - examintation and I notcied the stem attached to the lump.. After I noticed the lump I started getting very very very paranoid and I jus decided the next day to call the urologist and he said that from what I decribed he thinks its a cyst but he cant tell me until he actually see's and feels it for himself. Tho I'm not all for someone playin with my manly area, I kno its better to get it checked out then just to leave it go. One thing I noticed the teste with the "lump" has shrunk.. Is that a sign of Cancer?

Ok.. Now that my doc appointment is coming soon... I jus wanna kno what you guys think it might be.. Ill describe my symptoms again.. I have a lump thats about marble sized or maybe a tad less.. the pain went away tho.. i think the testicle shrank but i jus noticed theres not really a big dif between the 2... thats about it... tho the lump seems to have grown... and its attached by something like stem like and it attaches to the lump and i can move the lump around the side of my testicle but no further... its kind of on the back right side...

Can someone tell me what they think it is.. even if it sounds like TC I would rather kno now then goin there expecting nuthing..

I'm putting my money on a cyst. It does not sound like tc.

You're going to be ok buddy.

I think it will be a varicocele myself. It could also be a cyst though (though the testicular shrinkage makes me thing otherwise). Either way neither are dangerous.
