  • uh... worried?

    Hey all,
I am 20 years old, and I did a self-check about 3 days ago and noticed a lump which seems to be just above my right testicle, (seems like a separate lump, though bascially connected to the testicle on the sperm tube). Last night I realise the same thing had developed on my left one (exactly the same). There is a general ache in the area. I am going to see a doctor tomorrow. Just wondering if you think there is going to be very bad news, or it could possibly be something else. Thanks for your time!

Are you following good self-examination instructions? Are you pretty sure this is something new and not a normal part of your anatomy? If you're in doubt, it's good that you're getting it checked.

Hi Scott, Thanks for your reply. I have also just realised that my left one hurts pretty bad when squeezed and definately feels a bit harder than the other. I'm definately going tomoz, and definately not expecting a good result now. Thanks heaps for your help!

I just have one question.. If I have a lump in the one and it feels smaller is that TC or could it be something else..

Rebounder I'm goin through the same thing.. But if its on both? I would think its the epidyms.. But I'd get it checked out if you never noticed it.

Stay on it, but don't assume the worst. Let us know what you find out.

It could be something else, but it needs to be checked.

I think you've developed a direct hernia. I hope you will not look into this matter lightly.

Btw, i'm a medical student. Please do update me on your condition

Just got back from the doctor. He says its nothing out of the ordinary. The cords are swollen and the testicle I thought was bad was just inflamed. I have some anti-inflamatories and have to go back in 2 weeks to see if its all good. Hopefully this will fix it all up.. Thanks heaps for all of your responses!
