  • ticking testicle

    hi,

I'm 19 years old. My left testicle has been giving random and sudden beats(like a pulse beat) -that lasts for a second or two,for the last 6 months. This happened once a blue moon but no pain is involved. I just have a mild discomfort whenever this happen. I'm suspecting that my left spermatic duct is clogged, but am i any near TC?If no, what do you think is this cause of problem?

Before 6 months ago, i'm an avid cyclist form mountain biking to road riding and no ticking testicle. But when i stop cycling, this symptom started.

I hope you can help me out.

    thanks

I have been experiencing the same "ticking" for about 3 weeks now, just beneath my left testicle. It occurs most often when I'm lying down, and sometimes after I've been sitting for extended periods. It's rather like a twitch but with no visible movement. It is similar to a pulse, as you described, except that it is faster, which leads me to think it is perhaps a spasm in one of the small muscles near scrotum/perineum, or perhaps an irritation of one of the smaller branches of the pudendal nerve. However, I am just guessing based on anatomical pictures on the web.

Did you find out what the problem was? I haven't seen a doctor yet because it's not painful, just a minor irritation. However, if it continues or becomes painful, I will go.

Hey guys, It doesn't sound like TC. If its still bothering you though, i'd go see your doctor to have him take a look..... just to be on the safe side and to ease your mind.

      Take care,
      Kevin
