I just got a call from my doctors office today, and they told me that the results of my ultrasound came in....all clear. Three radiologists looked at the findings and said that there was nothing abnormal on the testicles or the epididymis.
One interesting thing they pointed out is that my left testicle is lower than the right, and it seems to have an increased blood flow to it. The "lump" might be the head of the epididymis which is out of alignment, and the pain might be associated with increased pressure. But there is absolutely no sign of cancer.
I am debating going to the urologist anyway, even though they say that it's no longer critical. Better safe than sorry.
Let me take this opportunity to thank everyone on this board for their stories and inspiring thoughts. It's great to know that boards like this exist for people in need, and it really helped me keep a positive mindset through this ordeal. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who is going through this ordeal, as I now understand how hard it is. Thanks again guys.
