  • Pain in Testicle and getting bigger

    Hello guys,

I have been posting on this forum about my visits and tests for few weeks now. My Urologist told me I have a cyst not TC. I went to one more Urologist just for 2nd opinion and had MRI done last night. This morning I woke up and I have a severe pain in my right testcle where the supposed cyst is, it has become bigger. I can't walk propoerly, all my right side from testcle to little above the waist hurts. I am just wondring if this normal for cyst or is it symptom of TC.

    Apprecaite your comments.

It’s very easy to aggravate a cyst. I wouldn’t worry but let the doctor know that it’s swollen and you’re in pain.

If an MRI shows a fluid filled cyst and nothing else you should be relieved. If it's causing you discomfort it should be drained.....not as bad as it sounds adn you'll feel SOOOOO much better! Call the doc.

        Thank you

Dadmo, Karen thank you for replies. I had to go ER as I was having severe pain and swelling. They did one more Ultrasound and found that it is a mass not a cyst and it is infected (blood circulation goung there) and it is not part of testicle. I spoke to Radilogist who did my initail Ultrasound also, he told me that he found a mass not a cyst even in the first scan. I am wondering why my doctor told me it is cyst first time when the report says mass. It is confusing even the doctors mess up (Could be because my markers are normal). Before discharge they told me it could be infection of epidemis. Now it is ben 40 days since my GP told me to check with Uroligist, I am getting lillte concerned that the docotrs are taking so long to determive what exactly it is but I know I can't do anything else. The only I am feeling good about is that I am seeing 2 urologists to be sure. All my test results will be in including MRI on Thursday. Hopefully things will be clealer then.

        Thanks again.

        Have a great weekend

The doctor saw a solid mass and didn't tell you? He has no right to withhold that information. It's good that you're getting second opinions, I would be furious.
