    Just wondering.

    I'm new to these forums and want to ask a question so..

    Not really sure how to explain this but i'll try....

    Both of my testicles are the same shape and everything but the right one is attached to something above it, like above my left testicle there isn't anything but above the right one is this huge lump that is twice as big as my other two testicles. I can squeeze whatever it is attached to and feel no pain or anything. Also when I take a shower and my muscles are relaxed whatever it is attached to goes down in size to what it feels like 2 small lumps, but right after I get out it will swell back up. I also notice the right side of my lower abdominal is a little bigger then the left.

    Anyone know what this is? I don't really like going to doctors.

    Take a look at this picture and the follow the examination procedures found here. I think you'll find that your feeling the normal plumbing. If you think anything is wrong certainly contact a doctor for a professional opinion.

      It doesn't sound at all like testicular cancer but could be something else, such as a hernia or varicocele. I'd get it checked.

        It was a hernia and I am going to the surgeon tomorrow so he can set up a day for surgery.

        Is there anything I should/shouldn't do while having a hernia?

          The doctor should give you a list of dont's but it will basicly be don't lift anything over 10 lbs for a few weeks and go easy on the exercise.

            Ok, since my surgery isn't until 2 weeks I was wondering if it would be alright to have sex. My girlfriend is really trying to get me to but i'm not sure it would be the safest thing to do and it would be kind of weird to ask the doctor.

            Any thoughts?

              It's perfectly safe. If the fear is that you can transfer something don't worry about that, you're good to go.

                I'm more worried of it making it strangulate. Anyone know if it will?

                  That's one of the potential problems that you should discuss with your doctor.
