It is a Cyst
I wanted to reply to those who responded to my earlier concerns of the large lump in my testicles.
I went to the urologist yesterday and he confirmed by exam and ultrasound that it is a fluid filled cyst sitting on the top of my right testicle and all is ok and no concern.
He stated that it may swell to the size of my fist and could be surgically removed if it bothers me.
I wanted to report my findings and thank those that responded to my concerns and let others know that getting a prof. check-up is best.
Best of luck and care to those that have TC and thank you !

Welcome
If the lump is on the test then I am sure they send you for a ultrasound to see if it is fluid filled or not If not fluid filled then they will take it out , that is the only way to see what is going on.
As for TC being for the younger group it is but the risk start back up again at about your age. the good news is the cure rate is about the best of any cancer.
If you have any other questions please feel free to send me a email

Thank you
Thanks for your response. Like I said I have an appointment Tues. Nov. 14th and of course hope for the best. My self-exam feels lik it may be attached to the righ testicle, but I will leave tht up to the urologist.

Testicular cancer would be attached to the testical or inside it. If it's free from the testical then it could be a cyst or infection.

somewhat confused
First let me state that I am 55 yrs. old and last weekend discovered an extra large lump in my sac. I informed my wife and we began researching on the net and to my surprise, tesicular cancer is most prevalent in younger men, which makes me even more suspicious of what this may be.
I do have an appointment next week with an urologist, but i was wondering if my age is any factor at all?Tags: None
