How big is the lump usually?

I had something in school about this and they said if was supposed to be the size of a frozen pea. I know this sounds weird but because i am a picky eater i have never really eaten or seen peas. I think the lump i feel is smaller than a pea but is there anything else to compare it to?

I'd say a pea is roughly 1/4 of an inch in diameter.

Some men notice a lump when it is even smaller, often described as the size of a grain of rice. Others notice the whole testicle seems larger and/or harder without any obvious bump.
