confused

this is my story im a 15 year old male and about a year ago i got kicked in the( left) which hurt me, it also hurt for about 2 days on and off, I told my mum that i just had a lump in the testicle at the bottom , But what i feel is like a big clump of wires it feels like int he top of my left testicle, As of this day it aches every so often in a day also it seems to have got smaller, not to much i think this might actualy just be paranoi or somthing, when i went to the doctor the doctor felt the bottom of my testicle and said it was a cyst , but the problem is at the top with these tubes, so on the safeside i went to a ultrasound place, The doctor told him what was up over fone i guess or letter, so i went in got my left testicle checked and it seemed to be fine he said that it was just pushed up abit after been kicked and there was nothinng to worry about, now i dont know why this is still here to be honest,when i lie down they go away quite abit when i stand they usualy get larger but my left feels the same but it seels like its smaller tubes etc. When im at school and my balls are cold or what ever and smaller then usual my right feels bigger some how, any idea what this could be im sure its a varicole but why is it still hurting and why didnt the ultrasound person tell me about this..thanks in advance

thanks for that can you tell me what exactly it feels like when you had it, The only thing bothering me is that my testicle seems to have shrank maybes but i not realy sure if this is the case and it has decreased in size is this normal, Also the pain, its just a little ache and i have no ieda what this is for, It hurts every 5 minutes or so just a ache and stuff and it realy bugs me but i dont want to see the doc agen as i feel embarrased telling my mum again. thanks again also has anyone else got the same problem

The most common things mentioned are discomfort and a sense of heaviness often nipple sensitivity accompanies the symptoms. The chances of your having testicular cancer are very small but why risk anything. I understand the embarrassment but it realty is just another body part. If it were an arm or leg you would certainly have it checked.

i dont realy feel nipple sensitvity if thats what you meant. Also the feeling i feel now is a burning in the top of the leg directly left to my left testicle which i have the problem in

when i lie down i dont feel this pain, when i dont focus on it i dont realy feel it much but some time it feels like my ball/top of leg is burning and sometimes it just feels like when you get growing pains in top of leg, but its like most of the day, when i lie down the tube hings i described gt smaller kinda thing but when my sack is lik cold and tight it feels quite big that time, can a 15 year old phone the doctor up .. i understand they cant go get examined but is there anything i can do

different postions will change the way it feels. also, often, one is larger than the other. If they ultra sounded it, and it was "clean" then it probably isnt tc. I have had one of those for years. when it first came up, i could have sworn it was tc. felt exxactly the same, but you had a ultr-sound, so you are most likely ok. I have had the tech say, "it isnt cancer" but they are usually not allowed to say anything about the results. Legal liabiliy issues.

If it persists, and is bothersome, see the Dr again and see what they can do. But it sounds like they looked and it is not tc, or anything with any urgency.

the bit where you say they looked into it and its not tc, They didnt they looked at the bottom of my testicle, the probem is at the top, but im sure the ultrasound should have picked this up, i could forget about it its just the small pain thats there pretty much constantly... and the feelin i feel. also can one of yous answer the question i asked above please.. thanks

You may have a varicocele or some other condition, but we'll only be guessing. Your best bet is to head back to your doctor for a medical opinion. Good luck, and let us know what you find out.

i dont think ill be heading back to the docs tbh, only this thing about this pain that is realy getting on my nerves, Ive had a ultrascan which came up clean so im just wondering why this is, and what the veins like things are, also if a testicle gets smaller is that normal?

You really should see your doctor about the enlarged veins and shrinking testicle.

I'd guess it's a varicocele, but as I said, I'm only guessing, and only a doctor can give you a real diagnosis.
