I think most men are hypochondriact about their testis. Which isn't a bad thing.

wow thanks. well I was being a hypochondriact about my testis and my dr. being the great guy he was sent me in for an Ultra Sound.
So if there was a mass or tumor growing deep down inside of the testicle, it still would've showed up right? like in the very middle where there was no way you could feel abump.

Yes, an ultrasound can see masses growing inside. The ultrasound tech would be able to identify them by how they look compared to the normal testicle tissue. Usually, a person is sent to get an ultrasound for a reason - a lump sends many. But for others it is an ache or pain - or as for me I had an injury and noticed one of mine was hard and bigger than the other. The doctor sent me for an ultrasound and I had a good size mass - but no lumps.
I'm not sure why you were sent for an ultrasound, but the ultrasound would have found any masses that might have been growing inside. So, if you got an all clear, you should relax knowing you don't have TC.

Question about ultrasound?
I went in for an ultrasound a couple days ago and the results were good. My only question is, does the ultrasound check for mass/tumors growing from inside the testicles? and I mean inside because i've heard people who said they've never discovered lumps or bumps because it grew from inside. we're they diagnosed by a UC also? thanks if someone could answer this. I am very curious and paranoid.Tags: None
