  • Long-overdue concern? Advice please!

About 10-12 years ago I noticed (probably for the first time) that my left testicle was an unusual shape - kind of like a 'snowman' - a normal size and then about a half as much again on the 'top' of it (i.e. about half the size of my right testicle 'glued on' to the top of my left one).

It's never given me any bother, I never thought about it to be honest, and it hasn't changed in size or been tender or anything. However recently I started having really bad abdominal pains and a sort of 'pins and needles' feeling in and around my scrotum. I went to see the doctor, and I was asked if I'd noticed any lumps or anything. Well, I said I hadn't as it was from years ago. But now I've been reading up on TC and I'm really rather concerned.

I really don't know what to do about it, as I'd feel foolish if it was just something normal I've had all my life but I can't seem to find any information on that. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Snowman might be a way to describe how mine feels. My 2nd ultrasound indicates mine is cancer. Did you have an ultrasound yet? It will tell you if what you have is a benign cyst.

Ignoring it definitely won't make it better, though.
