  • very small pain or some kind of feeling

    hello,

i'm 17 years old and for the past 3 days i've been feeling some very small pain or feeling in my left epididymis. At first i couldn't tell if i was imagining it or not because it didn't hurt.. i just felt it. Now i know i feel something but it's not big. i don't have any lumps. i checked several times. i am thinking about getting an appointment if the pain/feeling doesn't go away.. does any1 have any idea what it could be?
i don't feel it when i'm concentrating on something [homework, talking to friends, etc] or doing something else. i don't feel it for the 1st 1-2 hours after i wake up..
my plan was to ignore it and hope for it to go away in a day or two, but it's been 3 days and i'm kind of worried.
i don't think i have TC because i don't feel any lumps and i am asian (statistics show that asians have the lowest % of tc[?])

    what do you guys think?

    thanks in advance.

It sounds like you have an inflamation of the epididymis, that can be taken care of with a visit to the doctor and some medication. It certainly doesn't sound like tc, but keep up those monthly exams and let us know what the doctor says.

I'll bet it's something less serious than cancer, too, but I wouldn't assume that it can't be cancer because of statistics. "Rare" does not mean "impossible."

i scheduled an appointment.. but i'm gonna have to wait a couple of days.

i'm just wondering how long does the process take if someone were to have some inflamation in the epididymis?
i don't even know if that's what i have, i'm just wondering because maybe the inflamation process would last a week the most, then i can just tell myself: if i have it, it might go away in a day or two before the appointment..

or do you have to take medication for it?

by the way, to keep you guys updated on my situation.. the "feeling" is starting to make its way up to pain. it got a little worse.. it feels like a burn. you know when you go to the bathroom and your pee burns your urethra, that's how it feels like.

It certainly sounds like you have an infection of some sort. Don't count on it going away on it's own.
