  • Please help me easy my mind

    Hey guys,
I'm 17 years old, and a few days ago I noticed a very small lump (2-3mm) close to the epididymus. It feels like it's attached to the epididymus since when I move it around, the lump moves along with it.

Also, since yesterday the area has become somewhat more tender, but that might be because I've been over examining the area quite alot in the last couple of days. Also I'm so focused about that area and pretty worried, so I'm maybe imagining things

Thanks in advance for any reply !

The fact that you can move the lump is huge. It doesn't sound like testicular cancer, you probably have a cyst which is quite common. I would get it checked by a doctor because cyst can cause other problems (none life threatning) and you really need a doctor to give a diagnosis.

Yeah, I've already talked to my mom about it and we're trying to get an appointment asap. I'm just in need of some reassurance during this weekend, since everything is closed until tuesday.

          Charlie,
The most important thing is that you got the ball rolling (no pun intended). Kudos on being diligent on this.

Well, yesterday I went to the doc and he said after a physical examination that it's a harmless structure of the epidimys or that it might also be the "appendix testis". Does that sound a "reasonable" diagnosis to you guys or should I try to get an ultrasound done ?

Also, the weird pain is still not gone. I don't even know if it's "real" pain, i just feel a kind of "pulling" down there in the most random occasions. But on the other hand the testicle isn't tender to the touch or anything.
