That's good but not conclusive, since not all tumors raise markers. Keep us posted.

The bike will be waiting when you get done with the operation. I would get that thing out of me today if I were you. There are certain components of tc that can spread very quickly, two weeks could be the differance between a simple cure (testicle removal) and chemo.

I have an appt. for monday

I have an appt. for monday. Thanks for the advice. I'v decided to just have the surgery and not wait for a second ultra sound. I have not found much information on how fast it can spread? its been four weeks now, and Im thinking of having the surgery in 2 weeks. Am I greatly increasing my risk? From a selfish stand point I really just want to get a good bike ride in before I have to hang it up for several weeks.

Get back in touch with your doctor. That thing has to come out and be examined and the sooner the better. Removing a testicle is simple, it can be done in the morning and you can be home for supper.

Welcome to the forums, edmoloco. What did the doctor say? It does sound as though it's almost certainly cancer and needs to come out immediately. Have you had blood drawn to test for tumor markers?

    started a topic surgery??

    surgery??

Four weeks ago I went to the doctor with pain and swelling in my right testical. I did 2 sets of antibiotics, then had an ultra sound, they found my right side has a mass with no blood flow covering about 60% of it, now its hard to the touch. I just found this out yesterday. Im thinking just go ahead and have it removed, if there is a chance its cancer, do it now.
Working...
