Just wondering, what could be the cause of a pain in my left testicle if not TC. I know no-one can be specific without seeing or feeling me, but I was just wondering what people mistake TC for sometimes?

Other than trauma, things like an infection (due to possible swelling), epidydimitis, varicoceles, or cysts may cause pain. The best thing to do is to see your GP, or, if possible, a urologist."Life moves pretty fast; if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." -Ferris Bueller

Just another question, is it more likely that I will have one of those other things mentioned if I am just feeling a pain and there are no lumps etc?"Life moves pretty fast; if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." -Ferris Bueller

Thanks, to both of you.
I've been feeling this pain in my left testicle for about 5 days now, and I have noticed that it seems to be settling down, the pain is still there but it's less. Also if I take my mind off it, like recently I have been revising a lot as I have GCSEs now (GCSEs are big nationwide exams over here in England if anyone didn't know) so obviously my mind is occupied on that and the pain seems to go all together then.
Is this a good sign?
If the pain goes away soon do you think I should not bother going to a GP or should I be safe and still go do you think?

Thanks. I think I will be able to get an appointment on thursday.
You may have guessed it, but there's another question comeing up! (Yes, I ask a lot!)
Just want to know what to expect when going. I know he's going to have to feel me and everything (which I am not too bothered with as it will be to my benefit) but will he be able to give me a straight answer on what it is or will I have to go and see a testicle doctor (sorry, I forgot there name!) ?
Also, will I have to have a blood test because I've pretty much got the biggest phobia of needles ever
When I was younger I had a pain in my stomach which doctors thought was appendicitus so I had to have a blood test, but unfortunately when I saw the needle I got scared and so all my veins sort of disappeared (that's the explanation I'm told of why it happened anyway), add a not very good doctor into the equation and he was sticking needles in me all over!
Not too fond of them after that
Anyway I'm sort of writing an autobiography here so I better go!
Thanks again.
