Thanks alot for the encouragement- I already feel alot better.
I let my mom feel the testicles just to be sure and she thought that they felt absolutely normal & the same...so I guess I'll leave it at that and keep it up with the monthly TSE's as you said.

Believe me, once you think you have a problem everthing seems to feel wrong. Just keep up those monthly exams and if you notice any change get it checked. ust don't check too often you don't want to irritate the area.

Now there doesn't seem to be any difference in the hardness of the testicles...maybe it's just my mind playing tricks on me after all

Hardness is one of the things to look for in tc. What you're feeling is probably normal for you but let the doctor tell you that. You'll sleep much better at night.

First of all, thanks for the quick answer.
But actually I'm not that concerned about the lump, but more that the left testicle feels (somtimes?) slightly harder than the right one.

DB17:
Your doctor is probably correct that the lump is nothing to worry about. If it's not part of the testicle it can be testicular cancer. What you probably have is a cyst on the epididimys. If you have any doubts about the diagnosis you should have your parents schedule an appointment with a urologist.

Scared! :(
Hey guys!
I'm a 17 (Nearly 18) years old and maybe 5 weeks ago I noticed a small movable lump close to the epididimys on my right testicle. A few days after the discovery I went to the GP and he did a physical examination of both testicles and said that the lump was nothing to worry about. He told me to just keep an eye on it. Now In my paranoia I've been doing tse's nearly on a daily basis and now I've got the impression that my left testicle is somewhat harder than my right testicle but I can't be 100% sure. Sometimes I've got the impression that they feel more or less the same and then again sometimes it feels like the left one is harder than the right one and I go "omg cancer!". I've otherwise absolutely now other symptoms associated with the left testicle and now lower back pain etc.
Also do you guys think that the doc would have noticed any difference in the testicles when he did the examination a few weeks ago or should I make another appointment?
Thanks in advance for the helpTags: None
