  • Do i have testicular cancer?

I've been experiencing testicular swelling over the past few months and initially i didnt suspect anything but over the past month have been experiencing excruciating back pains and now over the past week a severe but dull ache in the right testicle and it seems to up towards the right hip.the left testicle has shrunk tremendously. Im not sure what to think rite now. havent told anyone yet.
has anyone experienced the same problem????
    Please advise.

    Thank you

Salmaan, this may not be testicular cancer, but it does need to be diagnosed and treated right away by a doctor. How soon can you get to one?

      Salmaan:
You certainly have symptoms that require a visit to a doctor. I would contact a urologist and schedule an appointment as soon as possible. Don't let this wait.
Son Jason diagnosed 4/30/04, stage III. Right I/O 4/30/04. Graduated College 5/13/04. 4XEP 6/7/04 - 8/13/04. Full open RPLND 10/13/04. All Clear since.

Treated by Dr. Rakowski of Midland Park, NJ. Visited Sloan Kettering for protocol advice. RPLND done at Sloan Kettering.

        Salmaan -

My lower back was in pain for a month straight last year. I thought I might have a kidney stone so I had a CT scan done. Well...my lymph nodes had swollen upwards of 10 times their size which was causing my back pain. After much testing, blood work, and a biopsy...I was diagnosed with TC. Oh by the way...my testicles had no tumor and were clear on the ultrasound.

TC is very predictable. It spreads into the lymphatic system from the testicles (or originates there as in my case).

See the doc as soon as you can and please keep us posted!

I hope everything goes well and it turns out to be nothing. Thinking of you.
