    I found a lump...

    I'm new here and I'm 18 and For a couple of days I felt pain in my testicles...and I didnt think much of it...Then one day I got out of the shower and noticed That my Right testicle has a lump on the top of it and My left testicle looks a little bit bigger...or maybe its the same size and I just dont remember or realize...

    Anyway...This lump..is about an half an inch long and it doesnt hurt...but whats weird about it is, I can sort of move it around I dont think its attached to my testicle...It's not on the skin, It's on the inside...underneath...I dont know what it could be...I told my dad about it and he said " Dont worry about it, Thats common" but he didnt see it, I think I'm gonna show him though and see what he thinks... But any help/advice? Thanks!

    Tough to say -- you could be feeling the epididymis, a normal part of the testicle. From your description, it doesn't sound like testicular cancer.

    If you're not sure, or if the discomfort continues, you'll want to check with your doctor.

      It never hurts to play it safe and have the doc check it out...especially if you find yourself constantly thinking about it and wondering "I wonder..."

        I found a lump

        Today I looked at it again and I found a vein like 3 times as big and it hurts...its located around the Lump and idk what to do now.

          It's most likely a blockage or infection. Give your doctor a call and get it checked out!

            It certainly sounds like an infection. Get yourself to a doctor and a few meds should clear you right up and knowing it just an infection will certainly help you sleep.

              I found a lump

              I got an ultra sound today...and they called me at 4:30pm the same day to tell me the results...but i wasnt home, and When I called them back they were closed...So now I have to wait all night and worry...

                I got the results...Theres nothing wrong with them...But my Doc is gonna send me paper work to get more tests I guess?

                  That is awesome that your ultrasound came back negative! The additional testing is most likely a blood test to check for tumor markers and possibly a manual exam by the urologist if you have yet to have that done. Things are looking good!

                  Surveillance: CT/blood (6 month cycle)
                  4/27/13 - 6 years cancer free!

                    I got the results...Theres nothing wrong with them...But my Doc is gonna send me paper work to get more tests I guess?
