  • Lump on right side up from testis. HELP

    Hey,

I have had a "cist" relatively soft on my right epididimis for quiet some time I had a doc check it out and an ultrasound a while back and there where no dramas. it was relatively soft and there is only pain when I sit wrong for a VERY long period of time.

now recently, about a week ago, I noticed another lump however it isn't on the testicle, its up the top right of my testis like where the sac joins the abdomen. Its much harder than the one on my epididimis and hurts a little to touch/ size up, the left side has the same thing, but it isn't hard or large, feels like perhaps a vein or artery connection to the body.

I have searched high and low and can't find any information on the veins and possible causes of this lump. everything points towards TC being close to or on the testicle itself and not up and away.

The lump is about a pea size and seems to have grown out a little ways out so its not perfectly round anymore. by round I mean curved lower face, the top seems to connect to my body.

I'm a little paranoid about this one as it is rather hard.... I know that the TC mass is usually hard, etc.

Thanks in advance for your help and whatnot.

    regards

If it isn't on the testicle itself, it is unlikely to be TC. If it is within blood vessels, it could be a varicocele. Regardless, either type of diagnosis can be made by a urologist.

so its nothing to worry about ? possibly just a small infection of some sort? I plan on going to the doc's soon, just how soon depends on how crucial it is, I'm about to start a new job tomorrow and asking for time off isn't going to be impressive.

Your own health and well-being is way more important than any job (that's up to you to decide; this is just my take on things). If anything, you should get it checked out (at least by your GP) for your own peace of mind.

          yea, I understand that...lol

I've just move to QLD in aus. moved over 1000K's and don't know any good GP's here yet. I did go on the hunt for a medical centre, and found one that seems good. I'll be going there hopefully tommorrow afternoon after work. The missus will arrange an appointment for me

I'll let yas know what the deal is as I'm sure some people in the future might find this thread and it may be helpful.
