Hello all. My name is Adam and I am from St.Paul Minnesota. About 3 months ago I noticed a lump on my right testicle. Yes I know I waited way too lung to get it looked at but what is done is done. Today I went in for an ultrasound. Of course the person doing the ultrasound could tel me nothing but I did get a copy of the films and a large (about half the testicle) dark black mass of some sort can be seen in the films. It is very late at night at the moment but I just wanted to write a quick introduction. I will be back and am very happy I was able to find this site, I really need an outlet. You will hear much more from me I am sure.

Let's hope what you're seeing is nothing. Stick around and let us know what the doctors says and please stop trying to read those films. No your buddies can't read them either.

Welcome Jota. I agree with dadmo...don't try to read your films. Your doc should get the report quickly and tell you what the radiologist interprets it as.

I'm not a doc and I am not looking at your films or advising you, but can tell you this based on the science of ultrasound. A completely black area on an ultrasound (anechoic) is associated with fluid, such as in a cyst or hyrdrocele...which does NOT mean there can't be something else going on. When I saw a black area on my pelvic US I flipped...only to learn it was my bladder . I'm glad you had the US done. Please let us know what the report tells you!

Yes I know I can not read it and have to wait for my doctor to let me know what is the next step. One thing I learned yesterday was not to wear my tight boxers, feels like way too much pressure coming from the inside.` I hate waiting.
