I doubt the cyst will go away.....usually they are there for good. The antibiotics are mainly for if there is some type of infection. The cysts should not cause any long time problems, but in the future if for some reason you have infertility issues, the cyst may be to blame, and surgery of some type may be required. Until the day comes (which it hopefully never well) relax and enjoy life!

Cipro is a nasty drug........it made me tired, cranky, really agitated and dizzy. You will feel back to normal once you are off it. Congrats on the awesome news! Keep up with your monthly checks.

My Ultrasound was performed yesterday night, it was kind of unconfortable for me, but the fact of the matter is that i feel a huge relief, because what the ultrasound specialist fount was a Cyst on the epididymis (sorry i dont know the right name) a cyst of the size of a pea, I have been on CIPROFLAXIN already for about 4 days, i have had terrible head aches and joint pain also nausea, is that normal?.
I want to thank and congratulate all the people in this site for all helpfull info and support, i feel much better now, i hope people how are concern about TC, get checked quickly so that it can be treated the right way.
1 more concern, If that cyst does not go away with medicine, whats going to happen?
Thanks all
Luigi

I went to the Urologist, he examined the lump, he said that it was on the top of the testivle were i think the epidermis is located, probably it is inside, so he said "i dont feel like is cancer" thank god, BUT, its probably a Cyst, he gave me medicine, and also order an ultrasound to know exactly what it is, My ultrasound its gonna be this thursday at 7.30pm i will keep you posted Friday morning, Hopefully nothing bad its gonna come out of that.
Thanks all

Usually if you press to the urologist that you are presenting possible signs of TC, they will move up your appointment even sooner.

There are many factors that can cause lower back pain.......a very common cause is simply not getting enough sleep. It is true, though, that later stage TC causes lower back pain in some patients.
TC is very rare, so the chance you have it is quite low, but ANY type of testicular mass needs to be evaluated by a doctor or urologist. What they will do it an ultrasound and some blood tests. An ultrasound is very accurate in determining if the lump you feel is solid (95% chance cancer) or liquid filled (non-cancerous). Blood work will be done to check for elevated tumor markers. Be advised that not all types of TC usually cause elevated tumor markers (100%seminoma, in particular).
You may read that TC is usually found on the side or front of the testicle. This is true for the majority of people, but I myself found my tumor on the back of the testicle.
Try not to worry to much, it is probably nothing, but definitely get checked out and let us know what's up!
Bobby
