Waiting for an ultrasound

In the navy I guess things move a little slower medically, but I was wondering if it was right of my doctors to wait a whole month after they found the mass on my testicle. I am still waiting for the ultrasound. Isn't this something that should be done as soon as possible

My doctor waited a month between my first and second ultrasound. They originally thought there could be an infarcted blood vessel. When it grew between two ultrasounds, they said I needed surgery.

I don't know if this is the right or wrong way, but you are not alone.
