I am a 20 year old Male with a small bb size lump on my left testical.......i have been reading all the other threads and learning about that if it isnt connected to the testical itself not to worry.....it isnt connected.......i do get a pain every once and awhile but it is bearable right now.........i have had it for about 2 months i first noticed it when i was working this summer as a firefighter and i would have got it checked out but didnt have time and it hasnt changed.......i have seen just how bad testical cancer can spread..........one of my best friends died from it when he was 17.....it spread from his testicals to his lungs and he passed away only 3 months after being diagnosed with it........anywayz just wondering if anyone has any advise or experience of what a possible testical cancer lump would look like?

I agree with dadmo that your lump should be checked by a doctor, though I expect from your description ("...it isnt connected...") that it is something less serious than cancer.Scott
right inguinal orchiectomy 6/5/2003 > nonseminoma, stage I > surveillance > L-RPLND 6/24/2005 for recurrence, suspected teratoma but found seminoma, stage II > chylous ascites until 9/2005 > surveillance and "all clear" since

Three votes that you get it checked by a doc. Pain that is "bearable" needs to have the cause found as well. Not attched is good, but you'll feel MUCH better once you've had it checked and know for certian what it is.Retired moderator. Husband, left I/O 16Dec2005, stage I seminoma with elevated b-HCG, no LVI, RTx15 (25Gy). All clear ever since.
