Ok, I went to the doctor. He seemed more concerned on checking the Epidymis then where I said the hard dot was. Anyway if he did find the dot he said it was probably a cyst or something and to keep an eye on it. Fair enough I thought as if it was cancer would it be bigger? or get bigger? So I suppose I will keep my eye on it. Any sign of change and I'm going right back. The idea of a cyst on my testicle didn't sound to great either. I'm still not sure really but, is it normal to have lumps, bumps and such like on you testicle as you get older? Thanks for the info and I hope I wont need to be back on this forum. Really is a difficult subject to understand and scary too.

The best I can do with that desription is to tell you that if it's hard and firmly attached to the testicle it hould be checked as soon as possible. It may still be nothing but don't risk it.

I have checked several times using the info link you gave and also got my partner to check. As I am useless at describing I got her to tell me what she thinks. On the side of the left testicle is a hard spot type lump the size of a pin head or smaller than a peppercorn. I have booked myself into see the doctor and will let you know what it is to help anyone else who has a similar thing.....I hope its nothing.

Try and make an appt. with a Urologist, not a family doctor if possible. TC is very rare and sometimes it makes it difficult to spot with out a good understanding. I am sure you are fine but the peace of mind of getting told 'it's nothing!' will be priceless.
Let us know how you are.

I can not see the dot but I can feel it. I'm sure its not on the scrotum as it is not on the other testicle. My partner says she can feel it also. I'm not sure what I should be searching for. But I find it quite worrying. I'm finding it hard to describe, I know I should get it checked but I just didn't want to over react.

The dot that you see is it on the scrotum? To be testicular cancer the lump/bump would need to be firmly attached to the testicle itself. If it's on the scrotum it can't be testicular cancer but it still should be checked.

Any info?
Hello,
I have noticed a very small raised dot on my left testicle for a while now. It doesn't seem to have got any bigger. I'm a little concerned as it is on the side of the testicle and not the top where the Epidymis is where most people say they have a lump. Should I be concerned or is it just from getting older? I am now 27.Tags: None
