Ok, here is as condensed of a story I can give you guys of my situation-
When I was in the 1st grade I had some type of testicular problem (I think it was some sort of problem with a twisted testicle or something, obviously back then I wasnt too concerned with my official diagnosis) that basically left me in the hospital for a day or two then I had some type of procedure (not a major surgery) to correct the problem. Im not sure if that ties into this, but I just figured I would put it out there to make sure it wasnt tied into this problem.
Years later, Im really unsure when, possibly around the 5th grade, my left testicle began to shrink. My right testicle remained (and is remaining) at a regular shape and I havent felt any lumps on it, but my left testicle has been a bit larger than a marble for some time now. (Im 17). I know I should have gotten it checked when it started, but I was just kind of terrified at first and have still been putting it off. It hasnt given me any noticable discomfort (every now and then Ill get a minor pain in the area, but its not anything big at all and hasnt worried me any), its just small. I tried to live by the thought that if it wasnt in pain, and everything else (my overall health and body functions) was working fine, I could put it off. Now Im just worried that what I have is something that I need to get looked at, and that it could be some form of testicular cancer or something else. I am worried about both about it affecting my ability to have children and about it being testicular cancer and it spreading all over my body.
I know that you guys are probably going to give me the whole "Well, your best bet is to go to the doctor and get it checked out", but can anyone just give me an idea what exactly is going on? Im not trying to in any way substitute this for medical attention, its that it would help alot to atleast know what I am looking at here.
