wait times. How Long is too long?

I have found very small lump on the smooth part of my testicle. I have seen a doctor and have an Ultrasound in a couple of weeks. In Canada we have to see our family doctor to be refered to a specialist like a urologist. I was told at the time it would be 6 weeks or more. Is that too long?

If the Ultrasound shows anything out of the ordinary they will surely get you in ASAP!!!!! INSIST that they do and don't take no for an answer. If they can,t see you then keep calling around to someone who will. This is all pending on what the Ultrasoun d show---Hopefully it will just be a cyst or an infection. If for some reason you need to see a specialist it may be worth your while to travel to the University of Toronto and have a consult with Dr. Jewlett or Dr. Warde as they are the best in Canada!!!!!!
